Wijaya Putra University's Fisip Working Meeting carries the theme "Strengthening Synergy, Realizing a Higher Quality FISIP". Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the Regatris Hotel Surabaya.

The theme carried at this year's UWP Fisip working meeting is quite interesting but not easy to implement. Unless all academics have a strong commitment.  UWP Chancellor, Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum. appreciates the strong determination of the State Administration Study Program as the only study program that has received A accreditation and is expected to be a role model for other study programs in the UWP environment and I am sure that Fisip is able to realize all of that. Synergy has an important role in building quality because it involves cooperation, coordination, and the use of shared expertise to achieve better results than can be achieved individually. This is as emphasized by the Dean of Fisip, Dr. Sri Juni Woro astute, M.Com. that in the context of building quality, synergy is a key factor in achieving optimal results. It is expected that all elements of the Faculty and Study Programs will contribute to each other with their respective potentials. With synergy, it is possible to build a combination of expertise, considering that each individual and element has their own potential and strengths. With synergy, it can also give birth to innovation, encouraging the emergence of new ideas. Furthermore, it will also foster a culture of learning and joint correction to provide constructive feedback. Finally, synergy will help optimize resource utilization. By collaborating effectively, teams can allocate resources wisely to achieve quality results. The spirit of synergy is very appropriate to be raised, especially in 2024, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, especially the State Administration Study Program, will again prepare for the five-yearly ritual of BAN PT Accreditation and implement development programs outlined by the University Leadership, namely UWP towards Sociopreneural University. The working meeting was led by the Head of the IAN Study Program, Supriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si. Agreed on several important points, including prioritizing the improvement of academic qualifications and functional positions of lecturers, in addition to improving the performance of lecturers and students in order to maintain and improve the quality as one of the leading study programs at UWP.
