The Faculty of Language and Literature at Universitas Wijaya Putra (FBS UWP) was established through the Directorate General of Higher Education Decree No. 231/DIKTI/Kep/1998. The establishment of this faculty aims to offer a 4-year study program (8 semesters) with the goal of helping students develop language skills and knowledge of English language and literature, both spoken and written.
FBS UWP is considered a relatively young faculty at UWP and has 1 Study Program, namely the English Literature Study Program. To facilitate the teaching and learning process, the Faculty of Language and Literature has 10 lecturers and 2 administrative staff.
The vision of the Faculty of Language and Literature isTo become an excellent and respectable faculty based on Research and Entrepreneurial Values by 2030.
Achievements of FBS UWP include participating in certified independent study internships, obtaining competency certifications, passing EXPO KMI XI and XII, ranking in the Top 10 Best Talent Indonesia Next Season 6, and receiving funding for P2MW, PKM-K, and PKM-P.
The program offered by the Faculty of Language and Literature at Universitas Wijaya Putra is School of Linguapreneur with 3 areas of concentration: translation, linguistics, and teaching.
